REVOLUTIONS WOODTURNING

A few months ago I began to use the wonderful tools made by Doug Thompson. They have since become my favorite turning tools. But Doug sells these tools unhandled. So I set about making some handles for myself. I have been using them for some time and have gotten good feedback from other turners that have tried them.

To make a long story short.. I am now offering these handles for sale. They are 16" long and made from 6061 Aluminum and are covered with Braided Vinyl tubing. The tools are drilled 2 1/4" deep to securely hold the turning tool. The tool is locked into place with two set screws.

I am offering two different handles. One is bored to hold a 3/8" gouge. The other will hold a 1/2" gouge. The price is $35.00 plus shipping. If you need a handle longer or shorter or to hold a different size gouge, just let me know. I am pretty flexible and will try to make just what you need.

I do accept Paypal, checks, or money orders. You can email me with any questions.

Thanks,

Dave

If you've found your way to my web page, chances are you're either a fellow woodturner or a person interested in the art of woodturning. Either way, thanks for visiting; I hope you share my enthusiasm for this ancient craft. Although the art of woodturning goes back many centuries, up until recently most turnings were utilitarian. While some of my turnings could be considered utilitarian, most of the recent ones are headed in new directions. I hope you like where I'm going. After all, as they say, it's not the destination, but the journey.
